Murder again in Nassau December 13th 2014

On Saturday December 13th 2014 a young man was shot ans killed in his car while and his 14 year old brother wounded after leaving the funeral services of hi older brother.

THE murder of two brothers and attempted murder of their teenage brother is a the result of an ongoing feud stemming from their father’s murder in 2010, according to Chief Superintendent Paul Rolle.
Speaking with The Tribune, Chief Supt Rolle said the murders of Jaquan Anthony Rolle, 18, Jermaine Rolle Jr, 31, and the attempted murder of Anthon Rolle, 14, were not random shootings, but “targeted hits” as a result of an “ongoing feud” from Jermaine Rolle Sr’s death in 2010.
He also confirmed that police have two men, ages 23 and 25, in custody in connection with those homicides.
Jaquan Rolle was shot multiple times and killed around 2pm last Saturday after attending the funeral of his elder brother, Jermaine Rolle, who was murdered two weeks ago.
Their younger brother, Athon Rolle, was also shot, after two masked gunmen ambushed the brothers at a traffic light on Soldier Road near Robinson Road.
Police say the gunmen jumped out of a gold coloured vehicle and shot the teens multiple times before speeding off.
The brothers were taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where Jaquan died shortly after arrival.
The 14-year-old underwent emergency surgery and is listed in critical condition.
The Tribune understands that Jaquan was charged in connection with the August 26, 2012, murder of 22-year-old Emmerson Harding Jr. He was a juvenile at the time.
Harding was at a club on East Sunrise Highway in Grand Bahama when he was shot multiple times.
Jaquan was recently released on bail and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Anthony Ferguson, said police are still unsure whether his murder was related to those charges or the shooting death of his brother two weeks ago.
Rolle Jr was shot and killed in front of a home in Yellow Elder Gardens.
The boys’ father, Jermaine Rolle Sr, was also murdered – he was shot and killed in August 2010, also in Yellow Elder Gardens.
Up to press time, the country’s murder count stood at 116, according to The Tribune’s records.
