Early morning MURDER!!

Around 5am a man was brought to PMH by friends after it was discovered that he suffered gun shot wounds to the upper body.

 he was dropped of and the friends left without giving any of information as to who the man is the young man later died at the hospital.

He has been identified as Frank aka lil frank of Augusta Street.

A Woman found with a rope around her neck and is believed to be dead she was found on  sky line drive while in her bra top and black tights to a tree.

She has been identified as Ms. Jade Saunders age 27 years a mother of 2 kids.

May her soul R.I.P.

At this time her death remains un-classified.

A BRITISH man has been shot dead after two armed men boarded his sailboat near Stuart Cove's diving centre in western New Providence on Friday night and demanded cash.

#Police report that the man, believed to be an employee at the diving centre, has been resident in the Bahamas for a number of years and lived aboard his boat. Around 10pm two men armed with handguns accosted him and demanded cash. The men fired two shots at the victim before fleeing on foot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have launched an island-wide manhunt for four men in connection with the incident.

#The murder - the third in 33 hours since Thursday night - takes the total of homicides for 2015 to 48 

Murder #46 and 47 4/30/15

POLICE have launched an island-wide manhunt for the suspects responsible for two separate shooting incidents that left two men dead late last night.

#The country's murder count for 2015 now stands at 47, according to The Tribune's records.

#The first shooting ocurred around 9.30pm off Kemp Road when, according to police, a man was standing outside his vehicle when he was approached by a man known to him and shot multiple times.

#The suspect fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance but died a short time later. He has been identified as Tiffon.

#In the second incident, shortly before 10pm, police say a man had just closed his barbershop on Baillou Hill Road South when he was approached by three males. A struggle ensued, which resulted in the man being shot in the head and face.

#The suspects fled in a waiting vehicle. The victim died on the scene. He has been identified as Julian Taylor.

MURDER STANDS AT #45 4/21/2015

Murder stands at #45 on April 21st 2015

A MAN was shot and killed yesterday afternoon taking the country’s murder count to 45 for the year, according to The Tribune’s records.

#This is the third shooting death in the capital in three days.

#The latest homicide happened shortly after 2pm off Wulff Road.

#Officer-in-charge of the Central Detective Unit, Chief Superintendent Paul Rolle said the victim was walking with a woman when he was approached by a man with a handgun.

#“Shortly after 2pm, a male believed to be in his mid-twenties, a resident of Robinson Road, was walking in Union Village along with a female companion, when a male accosted them, produced a handgun and began discharging shots in his direction,” he said.

#“The victim ran but collapsed in the street. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS personnel were called on the scene and pronounced him dead.”

#The female was unharmed during the incident. Chief Supt Rolle said police are not sure of the motive at this time.

POLICE have identified the man murdered at Union Village on Wednesday afternoon as Leonel Louis-Jean of Robinson Road.

Murder now stands at #44

POLICE are investigating three separate murders after a man was shot to death on Ida Street yesterday afternoon, nearly 12 hours after another man was found dead with gun shot wounds near the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex.

#Police have also classified the death of a woman who was found dead inside her Nassau Village home last week as a homicide. These deaths brought the country’s murder count to 44 for the year, according to The Tribune’s records.

#The latest incident happened around 4.30pm.

#Police said the most recent murder victim was doing repair work on a car with another man on Ida Street. A lone gunman approached the pair and fired shots, according to Chief Superintendant Paul Rolle.

#“One of the victims who was struck to the hand ran to the next corner to seek assistance,” Chief Supt Rolle said. “The second male was shot multiple times to the body. EMS responded to the scene, where they pronounced the male lifeless.”

#The other victim was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital by ambulance.

#Police are also investigating the death of a man whose body was found around 3.30am Monday morning.

#Police, acting on information, went to a service road near the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex where they discovered the body of a man lying on the ground.

#He had multiple gun shot injuries to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

#The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Duval Watkins of Yellow Elder Gardens. Mr Watkins was “well known to police”, The Tribune understands.

#He was also shot in the chest in October 2014, while walking through Yellow Elder Gardens.

#Police are also investigating the death of a 55-year-old woman who was discovered dead inside her Nassau Village home last Friday.

#According to reports, Doretta Rolle was found unresponsive around 7am. EMS personnel were called and pronounced her dead at the scene.

Police initially said the matter was unclassified, but after conducting an autopsy, the matter has been ruled a homicide. Sources close to the matter say results from the autopsy show Ms Rolle was strangled.der now stands at #44

THREE men were killed in separate incidents yesterday - one in Grand Bahama - bringing the year’s murder toll to 41 for the year, according to The Tribune’s records.

#The two latest murders occurred last night, less than an hour apart.

#Shortly before 9.30pm, on Tuesday April 7 2015, police were called to the scene of a shooting at Graham Drive in Yellow Elder Gardens, where a male was found dead in his car.

#While police were processing that scene, they were alerted to reports around 10pm that a man was stabbed at Roberts Drive in Nassau Village. Police believe that killing stemmed from a domestic dispute between a man and his juvenile nephew who was arrested shortly after the incident.

#Chief Superintendent Paul Rolle said when police arrived in Yellow Elder, officers found a 24-year-old man sitting in the driver’s seat of his 1997 Honda Prelude, with gunshot wounds to his body.

#EMS pronounced him dead on the scene he has been identified as Chima Bain

#“While here on this scene, police, we also received reports of a stabbing incident in the Roberts Drive (area in) Nassau Village, off Alexandria Blvd. Information there is that a young man and a relative became involved in an argument. The younger, who we believe is a juvenile, took a knife and stabbed his uncle to the chest, fatally wounding him to the chest.” He has been identified as Arlington Thompson

#The juvenile was arrested, Chief Supt Rolle said.

#Meanwhile, police in Grand Bahama are investigating the early morning homicide of a man in Freeport.

#A young man was stabbed to death, pushing the homicide count for the year to five in Grand Bahama.

#The unidentified victim, believed to be in his 20s or 30s, was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. identified as 28-year-old Clayton Rufus Brown, of No 15 Lawrence Close, Freeport.

#No arrest has been made and police are investigating the matter.
