4 Murders in less than 24 hours 10/08/2014

On Sunday August 10th 2014 Mr. Brandon Russell was shot multiple times amongst the body and died
as a result of his injuries while in the area of Farrington Rd.

On this same Sunday night Nadia Cartwright and her boyfriend Henry Burnside while riding his motorbike
along blue hill road in the area of AF. Adderley School Nadia was shot and killed.


later on that night a male while being a patron at a club came back in and shot 2 persons on Cordeaux Ave
Ms Latoya Williams-Mortimer succumbed to her injures.

On Monday August 11th 2014 Mr. Prince Prudent was robbed shot and killed in Pinewood while making a delivery.

Another murder only hours apart on Saturday July 26th 2014

Otis Lightbourne was shot and killed 5.30am while sleeping along side a female friend when to arm men force their way inside the Meadow Street home and fatally shot him in the head before fleeing on foot.

73 year old women perish in a fire here death is now a homicide

On Friday 25th July 2014 73 year old Maud McCartney a retired public servant was found inside her home burnt beyond recognition.
Her death had now been classified as a homicide.

Another 2 Murder occurred on Saturday 26th July 2014

In the early hours of Saturday morning around 2am  two men were leaving a club both were shot with one succumbing to his injuries.

He has been identified as 25 year old Clifford Cartwright of Refuge Court South Beach

One of them, Jermaine Russell, 35, of Pinewood Gardens, was reportedly shot five times by a man armed with a handgun around 3am yesterday while walking to his vehicle from a nightclub on Apple and Peach Streets. He was pronounced dead shortly after 8am.

#Russell had been charged in 2012 with involvement in a conspiracy to kill Stephen Sherman, who was shot dead outside his Yamacraw Shores home on February 17, 2012. The charge against him was eventually dropped.

Two Men shot one succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday 22nd July 2014

On Tuesday 22nd July 2014 two men while visiting a friend in Sunset Park they were shot multiple times
with one succumbing to his injuries.

He has been later identified as Micheal McIntosh he was wheel chair bound of Jacaranda Street Pinewood Gardens.

On Tuesday July 15th 2014  A man was found bullet ridden off Cowpen road cladded in tan sirt blue jean pants and and a G-shock watch with a tattoe on his stomach.

He goes by the aka young money and he resides Sapodilla at Pinewood Gardens


POLICE have identified the man found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in bushes off Cowpen Road on Tuesday 15th July 2014 as 24 – year old Akeem Sands of Sapodilla Boulevard, Pinewood Gardens.

Teenager stabbed t death on The Island of Eleuthera
