Another Murder recorder in the capital on Tuesday 16/09/2014

A murder suspect out on bail has been arrested in connection with another slaying that occurred yesterday morning in the Fox Hill area, police have confirmed
The sound of gun shots shook the morning air through Adderley Street in Fox Hill shortly after 10:00 a.m. following a shooting that left one man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
At the scene, the Bahama Journal found police officers combing the area for clues in the aftermath of the incident.
“Around 10:15 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. a male resident of Step Street rode his motorcycle into the Johnson Road area where he had stopped at a residence,” said Head of the Central Detective Unit (CDU) Superintendent Paul Rolle at the scene Tuesday morning.
“Shortly afterwards two additional men came into the area on motorcycles, the victim got into an argument with the resident of the house and as he was about to leave, we believe the male of that residence withdrew a hand gun and discharged several shots in his direction hitting him to the back of the head.”
He added that a relative transported the victim to the hospital; however the man died in hospital a short time later.
While some police officials were at the scene gathering clues about this latest murder and the victim, a team of other officers went on a high speed chase to catch the suspect.
The suspect crashed his vehicle in the Kemp Road area and got into another vehicle and continued to flee from the police.
However, officers intercepted the vehicle in the Nassau Village area and arrested him.
According to Superintendent Rolle, the shooter was released from prison on bail in June and was wearing an ankle bracelet at the time of his arrest.
The 27-year-old suspect of Johnson Road, Fox Hill is on bail for the November 2010 murder of Shandel Smith the attempted murder of her relative Sharia Curry.
At this time, police are looking for a 16-year-old boy of Step Street Fox Hill as he is believed to be the second suspect involved in this shooting.
This is the second murder to happen in less than 48 hours.
A 25-year-old Fox Hill man was also shot to the head on Sunday in the Yellow Elder Gardens area.
